Buddah Belly completely exceeded my expectations! Buddah Belly is located in a walkable part of Midtown, and I recently stopped by with a friend for lunch. Buddah Belly offers a menu of plant-based options, including salads, bowls, burgers, and handcrafted drinks and juices. Admittedly, this isn't my go-to type of place, but their plates were aesthetically pleasing and delicious. I ordered one of the specials, the Soba Noodle Aglio Olio e Peperoncino, and completely devoured it! The plate was a good portion, and I loved how fresh everything tasted from the mushrooms to the tomatoes. Even though Buddah Belly has counter service, staff were friendly and checked in on us. I'd highly recommend and am looking forward to my next visit!

Buddha Belly Burger is the perfect spot for our family (a mix of vegetarians and flexitarians, who all want delicious food!). We can all find something to eat that is satiating (that is harder to do sometimes when you are getting rid of the meat in meals). I appreciate their drink menu, too! The prices are a little steep, but you're getting what you pay for - high-quality, fresh ingredients.

First time trying plant based/vegan restaurant, the mushrooms were so crispy and delicious even had left overs and they stayed crispy. The sauce was also really good. The salad was okay I did change the buddha salad to have the riza meat and because I still eat meat that the taste of the riza meat felt a little weird it has a sweet undertone and I don't think it went with the salad dressing, maybe if I kept the original way they make it. Other than that I would definitely come back to try their other stuff or come back for the mushroom

Finally made it here for a late lunch. Entire menu is plant based. You order at the counter and take a number. food will be brought out to your table. Overall nice vibe and was clean. We got a Rhiza Carne Asada Bowl and a Baby Buddha burger. The bowl came with Sautéed Rhiza, Okra, Quinoa, Roasted Sweet Potatoes, Avocado, Corn, Micro-Greens, Cabbage, Pico De Gallo, Tortilla Stripes, Creamy Chipotle Dressing. It was delicious. The baby burger was nice as well. Overall nice experience. Will be back

My family and I visited Buddha Belly Burger this past weekend and we were so happy with our experience here. Parking can be a little tricky- I did not see a private parking lot, so we parked on the street after slowly driving around a bit. It was lunch hour so the parking was a little hard to find at first. For small plates, my family and I ordered the charred broccoli and the maha mushrroms (Tempura Blue Oyster Mushrooms with Sriracha Mayo) as our appetizers. They were very delicious! I loved the seasoning of the charred broccoli and the maha mushrooms were perfectly (even the dipping sauces). For my main dish, I ordered the Smoke BBQ Tofu salad (dressing on the side). WOW - it was HUGE. The serving size was big and I had to take some home because I couldn't finish it. The Smoked BBQ Tofu Salad included Tofu, Bacon Bits, Avocado, Shiitake Mushrooms, House Greens, Micro-Greens, Broccoli, Carrots, Onions, Cucumbers, Tomatoes, Apples, Almonds and sprinkled Parm, with Ranch Dressing. We also ordered the Soba Noodle Salad (Shiitake Mushrooms, Micro-Greens Red Onions, Carrots, Green Onions, Cabbage, Wedged Lemon, Avocado, Ginger Sesame Soy Dressing). The kids loved it - they shared this and it was more than enough! My husband ordered the Grilled Shaken Stake Buddha Bowl (Soy-Garlic Rhiza Steak, Quinoa, Micro-Greens, Onions, Bell Pepper, Avocado w/ Lemon Pepper Dipping Sauce). He mentioned how flavorful the soy-garlic rhiza steak was and how impressed he was with the consistency. The place is very fast casual - think order at the counter and find a table. The food does come out quickly and there is ample seating (big and small tables). Wonderful atmosphere! I can't wait to come back here again!

I only like vegan restuarants that actually showcase the veggies rather than trying to make everything good with masking their raw flavors by deep frying them or smothering them in wannabe meat flavors. Let the veggies shine man! Maha Mushrooms 5/5* WOW. Just wow. The delicate outer crust skillfully displayed what a tempura fry should be..super light yet so crisp. The mushrooms were huge and so juicy inside, dusted with a perfect balance of salt. I would come back just for this dish alone. These feed my crispy addiction like fries, but 10x elevated. Vietnamese Coffee 3/5* The coffee itself isn't as strong as your typical Vietnamese coffee, but what really made this drink uniquely delicious is the in-house made coconut cream. Such thick, fluffy, and creamy goodness. Definitely coconut milkstache worthy. Banh Mi Burger 3/5* It was a little dry and could've used more aoili or something. The patty itself, though, was juicy and the texture was spot on, I had to second guessed whether it was really vegan or not. The patty isn't your typical veggie patty with the crunch of nuts or quinoa, but it was soft and pliable. It was lacking some flavor and was overpowered by the pickled veggies. The pretzel bun was soft, but I would've preferred a bit more toasty-ness to the top. Corn Ribs 5/5* Nice thick strips of corn strips. Roasted, smoky, and held its shape when you dipped it in sauce. Plump kernels sprinkled with parmesan, and hit with smoky paprika and tangy lemon juice. The corn ribs were so flavorful and satisfying. The small plates were so delicious and expertly crafted, I can't wait to try the other dishes. I'd sell my soul for those Maha Mushrooms though. It's been a few weeks since I last had them, and I've thought about them every week. Sac needs more vegan places like this.

A hip vegan lunch place! Love the decor inside. They are a pay first at cashier and find your seat after (is there a name for this resturant concept?). The waiters bring the dishes out to the table- which was prompt and quick. One thing was that we noticed the portion sizes were big. The carne asada bowl probably could feed 2. The buddha fries were hand down the best, their sauce was delicious. The corn ribs would have actually been more elevated if it actually had some of that sauced drizzled on them. But it might make the taste profile too similar. The country fried steak (CFS) burger was amazing. Texture was was surprisingly good...one thing with normal CFS is that I find the meat kind of tough. But the patty in this was perfect and worked well as a burger. Would definitely but back to try some of the drinks that look so yummy.

We got the carne asada burger and the bbq bacon cheddar burger with an avocado milkshake. The BBQ bacon cheddar was 9/10 -crunchy, yummy, delicious Carne asada was a 3/10 -spicy, bland, overall lacking Fries and broccoli are equally worth ordering The avocado shake was unique but also kinda bland.
